Speakers say they will not allow anyone to turn their area into a battlefield

Khar: Bajaur Peace Action Committee organized Aman March, at Shande Mor Khar on Thursday, which was attended by thousands of residents, Aman March “Demanded restoring of peace in tribal district Bajaur.

People from all walks of life including political workers, social activists, traders, and youth attended the peace march organized by the Bajaur Peace Action Committee, a local alliance of political parties. Tribal elders, traders, social activists, and youth participated in the march enthusiastically and demanded the restoration of peace in the district

Holding white flags and placards, the participants of the march chanted slogans in favor of peace and against the fresh wave of terrorism in the region,

The rally was addressed by ANP Provincial General Secretary MPA Sardar Hussain Babak, Pashtun Tahafuz Movement Chief Manzoor Pashteen, MNA Mohsin Dawar, MPA Nisar Mohmand, Syed Akhunzada Chattan, former Senator Maulana Abdul Rasheed, Maulana Khan Zeb, Gul Afzal, Sher Bahadur, Malik Khalid Khan, Sikandar Zeb, Shahabuddin Khan, Haroon Rashid, Najibullah Khan, Malik Bahadur Shah, Malik Shaheen Khan, Malik Sultan Zeb, Qari Khairullah, Imran Mahir, Maulana Waheed Gul and other speakers.

The speakers said that peace and normalcy were the foundation of socioeconomic development. They said that insecurity and uncertainty were the major causes of the backwardness of the tribal districts

They lauded the Bajaur Peace Action Committee, the local leaders and workers of political and religious parties, and the residents of the district for arranging the march. They said that the march was necessary to stop the ongoing wave of terrorism in the tribal districts.

The speakers said that the unrest and terrorism will not be tolerated again. He declares that it’s the responsibility of the government and state institutions to protect the citizens. He states that they will not let the peace deteriorate in any case and nor hesitate to make any sacrifice for the establishment of peace in the area. The participants also took out peaceful protest rallies.
