Passing out parade of Bajaur Scouts cadets held in Khar

KHAR: Pak Army’s Sector Commander (North) Brig Ghulam Mohammad has termed the personnel of Frontier corps the heroes of the nation for played tremendous performance in war on terrorism in the tribal district.

He stated this while addressing the passing out parade of Bajaur Scouts cadets as the chief guest held at Fazal stadium here the other day.

It was the 27th passing out of FC recruits which attended by elders, political and social activists and senior officials of security forces, district administration and police.

Brig Ghulam Mohammad said that its fact that security forces, Levies forces and local people had played wonderful role in restoration of peace and writ of the government in the tribal district.

However, he was of the opinion that personnel of FC had played great role in eliminating militancy in the ex- Fata, saying the efforts and sacrifices of the FC soldiers were remarkable.

Brig Ghulam Mohammad said that he had been associated with security forces for last two decades, but, according to him, he found the FC personnel very committed, talented and well organized.

He said that though exemplary peace had been restored in the district due to the joint efforts and sacrifices of security forces and local residents.

However, he, stated that the security forces were ready to foil any nefarious designs of miscreants in the region, saying he would not allow anyone to sabotage peace and normalcy in the district.

He congratulated the newly recruited soldiers for their successfully passing out described them very lucky for choosing this great and holy career of country’s security.

Deputy Commissioner Usman Mehsud, Commandant Bajaur Scouts Col Suliman and district police officer Pir Shahab Ali Shah were also present in the function, held once a year.

Later, the recruits demonstrated march-past and received appreciation from the audience.
