Olive Production Plays a Vital Role in Boasting Farmers’ Economy in Bajaur;Anwar Zeb Khan

Khar. Agriculture Department Tribal District Bajaur has inaugurated its annual olives production drive in Bajaur.On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Bajaur Mr. Fahad Wazir and Minister for Zakat , Ushr and Social Welfare Mr. Anwar Zeb Khan also took part in the drive by planting olive plants on the occasion.
The current yield of forest olive exceeded 11m, while the agriculture department is continuously struggling to increase the yield by grafting in 0.6 M forest olive plants in tribal district Bajaur. Likewise, The said department has planted 600 acres farmland with high standards breed olive plants in the district.
The field staff and the officers are doing hard strives to cultivate more land with olive plants aimed at growing the yield and income of the farmers . The deputy commissioner Bajaur Mr. Wazir and Minister Mr. Khan vowed the farmers to plant more olive plots to double their income and achieve prosperity of their yields
